"Ozone" was discovered in 1840 by Christian Schoebein, a German-Swiss chemist. He noticed that ozone appeared during thunderstorms and named it after the Greek word for odor, ozine, because of its strange smell. In the natural world, ozone with a concentration of 10 to 20 ppm exists around 25 km above the ground. On the ground, ozone is produced by sunlight and ultraviolet rays, with a concentration of 0.05 ppm on the coast and 0.05 to 0.1 ppm in forest areas.

オゾン(水)とは
オゾン水とは、電気溶解により水(H2O)からオゾン(O₃)を水に溶解させたものです。更にオゾン(O₃)は非常に不安定な物質でオゾン(O₃)の状態で長時間存在する事ができず酸素(O)を一つ放出して酸素に戻ろうとする性質を持っています。そのオゾン(O₃)と水中の水素(H)が結びつきオゾンよりも強力な酸化効力を持つOHラジカルが生成され、様々な酸化作用(除菌、消臭）を起こします。
有機物やニオイが存在しないときは、水素(H)と結びつき、水(H2O)になります、これがオゾン水が安全と言われる理由です。つまり時間が経過しますと水に戻る性質を持っております。OX3には30秒、60秒モードあり、紫点線の時間内にボトル内のオゾン水を使い切る様ご使用ください。また時間が紫点線時間を越した場合、お手数ですが再度オゾン水生成を行なってください

右記の図で最も重要なのは殺菌有効濃度ですがオゾン水は噴霧しますと半減しますので右の2倍の数字つまりは最も濃度の高い数字1.2ppmの2倍の4.4ppmの濃度のオゾン水が生成されていないと理論上殺菌できない事になります。他社品をご購入される際にはオゾン水生成濃度の数字を確認してから購入しましょう。厚生労働省により食品添加物に認定されており、水に溶かして少量を利用する分には人体に対する影響がなく、次亜塩素酸水を上回る強力な殺菌消毒効果をもっているため、今最も注目を集めている機能水です。また塩素を含んでいないため独特の臭いがなく、洗浄殺菌に用いた後も洗い流す必要がないなど、使い勝手の面でも優れています。その効果としてはインフルエンザやノロウイルスはもちろんですが、SARS、MARS、新型コロナウイルスをも不活性化、死滅させる事が予測され、歯周病予防、口内殺菌、虫歯予防などの効果もあり食品添加物としても利用する事も可能です。ただし、医薬品ではありませんので「ウイルス抑制、除菌、消臭（拭取り）」という範囲までしか標ぼうする事が出来ないのが世の中のルールとなっております。

ノロウィルスは非エンベロープ型ウィルスに属しアルコール殺菌でノロウィルスの殺菌はできない
アルコールはエンベロープのない非エンベロープウイルスには有効ではありませんが オゾン水 はどちらのウイルスにも有効です。
オゾン(ガス)とオゾン(水)の濃度表示の違い
オゾンが危険と言われ規制されているのはオゾンガスのみ
電気分解方式のオゾン水はオゾンガスがオゾン水中に完全に閉じ込められており、空気中に殆ど放出されず人体へ影響及ぼさないからです。気体中オゾン(ガス)濃度のppmは体積比であり、1m3の気体中に1ccのオゾンが含まれているという事。
液体中オゾン(水)濃度のppmは重量比であり、1kgの液中に1mg(1tの液中に1g)のオゾンが含まれるという事。
オゾン水(1ppmはほぼ1mg/L) オゾンガスは空気中に1ppmは約0.002mg/L(0℃，1気圧)とオゾン水の方が約500倍濃度が高いのです。オゾン(ガス)は放出すれば残ります。電気分解方式のオゾン(水)のオゾンは30分もすれば自己分解し水に戻ってしまう為、安全なのです
